Frequently Asked Questions

The package typically includes round-trip tourist transportation, a professional guide, a high-mountain tour along Route 7, and winery visits with tastings, plus transfers. During the Andean leg, photo stops are made at viewpoints and iconic landmarks (e.g., Potrerillos, Uspallata, Puente del Inca, and the Aconcagua viewpoint, subject to weather and operational availability). The wine tourism experience includes a visit to a selected winery for a tour and wine tasting. Lunch, entrance fees to protected areas, extras, and tips are not usually included. Pick-up coverage depends on the hotel's location. Please verify exactly what is included in your tour package when booking.

The itinerary can be completed in one extended day or two days, depending on the package chosen. We usually depart early from Mendoza City to travel through the High Andes along Route 7, with scenic stops and free time for lunch at roadside restaurants (not included). Visits to wineries and vineyards are scheduled for the morning or afternoon, depending on availability. The total estimated duration is 8 to 12 hours per day. The order of activities may vary due to weather, traffic, and season. Final confirmation of the travel plan will be sent via email/WhatsApp the day before the tour.

Pick-up is usually available at hotels in downtown Mendoza. If your accommodation is outside the usual pick-up area or is an Airbnb, a nearby meeting point will be arranged to optimize your tourist transfer. Pick-up times are confirmed the day before via email or WhatsApp, with an estimated time frame (for example, between 7:00 and 8:30 AM), which may be adjusted due to traffic or weather conditions in the Andes Mountains. This package often includes airport-hotel-airport transfers; please share your flight number and arrival/departure time to ensure a smooth transfer.

For the High Mountain and Winery excursion in Mendoza, we recommend dressing in layers, including a windproof jacket, hat, and gloves in winter, closed-toe shoes with good traction, sunscreen, sunglasses, and water. Bring cash or a card for lunch, snacks, and any entrance fees. The level of exertion is low: the hikes are short and accessible, although the altitude and mountain curves may affect sensitive individuals. It is not advisable for those with severe heart or respiratory conditions without medical authorization. The Andean weather changes rapidly; stops or access points (e.g., viewpoints or high passes) may be modified for safety and weather conditions.

The reservation is made online with confirmation via electronic voucher. Spaces for the Mendoza excursion are limited; it is advisable to book in advance and share hotel and flight details to coordinate transfers. The price varies depending on the season, availability, and the type of winery included in the wine tour. Standard credit card payment methods are accepted. The cancellation and change policy is flexible and depends on the rate in effect at the time of purchase; please check it before paying. If there are road closures due to snow or weather in the Andes Mountains, rescheduling or equivalent alternatives will be offered, according to the terms of the booking.
