Join us on an adventure with the Andes Truck as we journey through the Camino de Caracoles, explore the Quebrada de Villavicencio, and discover Hornillos with its native guanacos, all before reaching the tour's highlight: the Condor Sanctuary.

Along the way, we'll make stops at various viewpoints along the Caracoles and pay a visit to the iconic Hotel Villavicencio, where a delectable lunch awaits.

Our excursion package includes transportation to and from your centrally located hotel, lunch, a 4 x 4 vehicle circuit, a bilingual guide fluent in Spanish/English or Portuguese, and personal insurance coverage.

Embarking from your centrally-located hotel around 8 am, we'll journey along the former international highway, tracing the serpentine route of the Caracoles road. This winding path, known for its abundance of curves, leads us to the heights overlooking the Villavicencio ravine - a perfect spot for capturing memorable photos. Our destination is a key area within the Villavicencio ecosystem: Hornillos. As a thriving habitat, we must tread lightly, observing from our vehicle the numerous herds of guanacos that call this region home.

From there, our journey continues to the Condor Sanctuary, a dedicated habitat for the protection and research of this majestic bird, revered by the mountain deities.

After our exploration concludes, we'll descend to the 1st and 2nd Mirador de los Caracoles. These viewpoints offer stunning vistas, serving as the ideal backdrop for picturesque memories. Our day culminates at the iconic Hotel Villavicencio, which now houses a restaurant where we'll savour a sumptuous lunch. The remainder of the afternoon is reserved for engaging in adventure activities at Villavicencio Park.

Our expedition concludes with an approximate drop-off time of 6:00 p.m. at our chosen hotels in the heart of Mendoza city.
