We will be collected from our chosen hotels in central Mendoza to embark on our journey through the picturesque circuit, covering both the old and new parts of the city.
Once all participants are on board, the excursion kicks off with a visit to the Ruins of San Francisco. This historic site offers an insight into Mendoza's past, allowing visitors to envision life in the city during colonial times.
The journey continues to Plaza Independencia, the city's heart, established in 1863. Here, travelers can enjoy a leisurely walk in this expansive square, surrounded by four satellite squares: San Martín, España, Italia, and Chile. Each square boasts its own charm and unique features, presenting a mosaic of culture and nature in the heart of Mendoza.
Following the exploration of the squares, the tour proceeds to General San Martín Park, one of the largest and most beautiful urban parks in Argentina. Within the park, participants visit El Rosedal, a rose garden showcasing a stunning array of colors and fragrances. Next, they move on to General Espejo Lake, a serene body of water reflecting the surrounding landscape, providing an ideal spot to unwind and savor nature.
The final stop of the tour is Cerro de la Gloria, an iconic landmark of Mendoza. From the summit, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the city and its surroundings. Here, the Monument to the Army of the Andes stands, a magnificent piece commemorating the liberating achievement of General San Martín.
After gaining extensive knowledge of the city, we will return to our selected hotels in the city center.
