Descripción del Tour:
Our journey begins around 7:30 AM as we depart from our chosen accommodations, setting our sights on the beautiful location of Uspallata. Our route takes us alongside the Mendoza River, offering stunning views of the Cordón del Plata and the magnificent Potrerillos Dam.
Upon reaching Uspallata, our first stop awaits. Here we discover a historical settlement of Huarpes aborigines, marking the southernmost point of the Inca empire. Our exploration includes visits to the Villas of Picheuta, Polvaredas, and Punta de Vacas.
Our journey continues towards the Cerro Aconcagua Viewpoint, nestled within the provincial park that safeguards this region. As we traverse the highest parts of the Andes, we'll marvel at the awe-inspiring Inca Bridge, a natural architectural wonder featuring hot springs. Subsequently, our path leads us to Penitentes, a quaint town situated just 4km from Cerro Aconcagua. This town houses the largest ski center in Mendoza and is nestled close to the highest peak in the American continent. Our final stop will be Villa Las Cuevas, perched at an altitude of 3200 masl.
Between Villa Las Cuevas and the international tunnel lies the trail to the Christ the Redeemer monument, symbolizing unity between Argentines and Chileans. Please note, access to this monument is only available during the summer months.
Our adventure concludes as we return to our selected hotels in Mendoza, with an estimated arrival time of 5:30 PM. During summer, if the excursion includes a visit to Christ the Redeemer, the trip will end around 8 PM.
